A note on Farnham’s architecture…..

Farnham 6

This is the lovely weathervane on Farnham’s Town Hall.  The building replacing a Victorian gothic building that was considered a bit too ‘brash’ for the increasingly genteel town.  Farnham had a wonderful architect in the form of Harold Falkner who worked tirelessly to produce what looks like a completely genuine 18th century town out of a miss-mash of conflicting bits and pieces.  More about him from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Falkner
