A sign of nurseries past……..

This photograph has been removed and will be appearing later in one of my other blogs – Around Camberley Observed.

Most of the planting at Earlswood Park is new but there are some plants left from the days when it was part of the garden centre.  Unfortunately it seems to have been a hard and miserable winter for them and they looked a sorry sight.  In the background you can see the remaining buildings of Notcutts – soon to be demolished and re-developed into a Waitrose and a smart new garden centre.

  1. On the subject of that Waitrose… when (if) it opens, people living in Camberley will have 3 Waitrose branches within 3 miles of their homes. Seems a bit greedy when there are whole counties in the frozen wastes of the north with no Waitrose at all…
